Call PDG at 434-973-6055 to schedule an audit. The auditor will meet with you to discuss your energy usage and review your utility information. A commercial audit is conducted per the standards set forth by the American Society for Heating and Refrigeration Engineers (AHSRAE) and includes the following:
PDG will benchmark your building using Energy Star’s Portfolio Manager. This program will compare your building’s energy consumption against others across the nation of similar size and use, and let you decide if an energy audit is worth exploring.
If an energy audit is something you wish to pursue, our highly qualified team of specialists using standards established by ASHRAE can perform two levels of audit to suit your needs.
ASHRAE Level 1 – Walk through Analysis
Level 1 audit includes a preliminary energy use analysis, a site inspection by a PDG engineer, a report detailing low-cost / no-cost energy conservation measures (ECM’s) and potential capital improvements for further study.
ASHRAE Level 2 – Energy Survey and Analysis
Level 2 audit includes a preliminary energy use analysis, ASHRAE Level 1 analysis, and also includes more detailed energy calculations and financial analysis of proposed energy efficiency measures. The financial analysis allows the facility owner to truly understand the financial benefits of installing energy efficient measures.
